Gene Pecar

Principal

Gene Pecar is President of Pecar Properties LLC, a Washington, DC-area developer, owner, and operator of income-producing investment real estate. He oversees the firm’s entire portfolio, including acquisitions, development, financing, and asset management. Mr. Pecar has completed numerous ground-up development projects along with the acquisition and repositioning of distressed assets.
He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Skyward Aviation, an FAA Part 135 on-demand charter and aircraft management company and a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Under his leadership, Skyward has expanded its fleet, operating footprint, and revenue across bases in Pennsylvania and Virginia, and Mr. Pecar directs the company’s real estate holdings alongside the Pecar Properties portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Pecar executed residential and commercial development and value-add projects with Pittman Partners (Carmel, IN) and Sandor Development Company (Indianapolis, IN). At PricewaterhouseCoopers, he provided real estate portfolio asset management consulting to the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Pecar is a retired command pilot, having served as an officer and pilot in the United States Air Force and the District of Columbia Air National Guard through his retirement in 2022.

He holds a Master’s in Real Estate and Finance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
